For Thula Lagna Saturn is the Raja Yogathipathi.

For Rishaba too, Saturn is Yogathipathi but also holds the sixth lord status.

But for Thula Lagna, Saturn is the fully functional benefic planet.

By being in exaltation in Lagna and by being in the 4^th house, Saturn gives Sasa Yoga effects to Thula Lagna.

Exalted Saturn (without Sukshuma effects or a benefic connection) in Lagna – the native will be short and tiny.

He will not cope with others in any matter.

He will be odd and different from his close circle of people, and not so intellectual.

Full malefic exalted Saturn in Lagna makes the native selfish, adamant, and narrow-minded.

He is not reliable also.

He doesn’t express his mind voice openly and is a pretender always.

They have an inferiority complex.

You may ask, Saturn is the Raja Yogathipathi for this Lagna, hence will it not do any good benefits to the native?

Here my answer is Yes.

Then how do Thula people get Raja Yoga benefit?

For this Saturn’s Sukshuma strength or benefic connection should be seen.

It is a part of the almighty’s strange effects.

Saturn is a full and natural malefic planet.

It is malefic to all Lagnas and hence just for the sake of Thula alone, Saturn will not change its character.

When Saturn is in exaltation in Thula, only if Saturn gets Sukshuma strength or natural benefic planet connection, then it gives all good benefits to Thula.

Without this, if Saturn gets exaltation in Thula Lagna, that is not useful in its Dasa period.

Further, if this exalted Saturn joins with Venus in this house, the native will have extreme sexual feelings, always inclined towards lovemaking.

This will have little complicated effects on the female natives.

If Saturn is alone here and not joining with any benefic planet, the native is denied female pleasures.

That gives the native extreme spiritual thinking or will make the native a saint and for this Jupiter should also be seen.

Saturn’s aspects fall on the 3^rd, 7^th, and 10^th houses.

During the Dasa period, Saturn gives enmity and separation from younger siblings.

Based on Mars and Jupiter’s position, siblings’ loss may also happen.

The third house denotes succour from others, Saturn’s aspect will deny this.

Lagna Saturn sees the 7^th house which will cause delayed marriage, less marital pleasure, unmatched spouse, inter-caste love marriage, etc.,

Powerful Saturn’s 10^th aspect to the 10^th house will give non-permanent jobs and unsteady business.

If the 10^th lord Moon is also in a weaker position, the native will not enjoy constant benefits in Jeevana.

He will keep on changing his job or profession.

Saturn in the 4^th house of Thula Lagna, gives Sasa Yoga.

If this Saturn is devoid of any benefic connection and only in a malefic position, this Sasa Yoga will affect the 4^th house Karakathvas -
like the house, vehicle, self-comforts, education, and mother’s affection.

When we examine Makara Saturn’s aspect, it falls on 6^th, 10^th houses and Lagna.

Its aspect to the 6^th house is good.

If Jupiter is also well placed that ensures a good life without enemies, debts, and diseases.

The native is not interested in borrowing and he does not need borrowing.

Saturn’s aspect to the 10^th house will give the person an unsteady job.

If Moon is also weak, as per the Dasa period the native’s profession or job will keep on changing.

He will not have a constant monthly salary. His earnings will vary from medium income to nil income.

Saturn’s aspect to Lagna will make the person a dubious person.

If there is no benefic planet’s connection to Lagna, the native will become unsteady and will miss many good opportunities.

The native will be arrogant, short-minded, lethargic, with an inferiority complex, etc.,

Generally, for any Lagna Saturn should not be powerful in the 4^th house.

The key Karakathvas of the 4^th house – mother’s affection, own house, and education are affected by this Saturn.

If the 4^th house Saturn should do a favour, then it must get Jupiter’s aspect from its Trikona house.

For this Jupiter should be in the 8^th or 12^th house of Lagna then only it can see the 4^th house’s Saturn.

But this Dusthana Jupiter has less beneficial effects.

So, Saturn should be strengthened in some other way.

Scorpio:

For Vrichika Lagna, 4^th house Saturn will get the ruling status and Mooltrikona power and give Sasa yoga effects to Scorpio Lagna.

What we have seen for Libra Lagna, will suit here also.

Vrichika lord Mars and Saturn are deadly inimical to each other, here Saturn gets the Mooltrikona power also, hence the malefic effect will be more.

Only if Saturn gets a benefic planet’s connection or Sukshuma strength, then the good benefits be expected.

The powerful Saturn in the 4^th house disturbs the 4^th house Karakathvas like ‘own house, vehicle, education, mother’s affection’ etc.,

3^rd house is Upachaya sthana, 3^rd lord is well placed in the
4^th house. Hence 3^rd house Karakathvas courage, writing, fame, music talent, younger sibling, perseverance, etc., will become strong.

From here, Saturn aspects the 6^th, 10^th houses and Lagna.

Malefic planet placement in the 6^th house or aspect to the
6^th house will reduce the bad effects of the 6^th house.

The natives will be devoid of debts and diseases.

Lagna lord Mars’ other house is Mesha which is its Mooltrikona house, and if Mars gets Sukshuma strength then that gives all good benefits.

Saturn’s aspect to Leo is not good for any Lagna.

For all Lagnas, Leo is vital for job or profession matters.

Saturn’s 7^th aspect to Leo is not good for the job.

Our old treatises say Saturn should not aspect Simma Rasi and the meaning is Saturn should not be in Aquarius.  

Further, the Sun indicates Father, Saturn’s aspect to Sun or Leo will make the native bereft of father’s affection or the native will have a bad father.

Saturn’s aspect to the 10^th house Jeevana Sthana will give unsteady non-permanent jobs,

Saturn’s aspect to this house will reduce the chance of a government job.

This Saturn will give hard physical work, downtrodden work, and ordinary labour jobs. 

Saturn’s aspect to Lagna will make the person unhealthy.
